HKAC is a multi-arts centre that fosters artistic exchanges locally and internationally, bringing the most forward creations to Hong Kong and showcasing homegrown talents abroad.

HKAC stimulates innovation and promotes creativity. Being Hong Kong’s only independent non-profit multi-arts institution, HKAC offers exhibitions, screenings and performances, connecting the arts of Hong Kong to the rest of the world through programmes and collaborations.

SPRINGBOARD GRANT

Launched in 2011, the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme aims at strengthening the cultural software and building the capacity of the arts sector of Hong Kong. It provides funding support for innovative and impactful proposals that contribute to the objectives of (1) capacity development of the arts sector; (2) programme/content development; (3) audience building; and (4) arts education. It also seeks to cultivate a supportive culture for the arts in the community and to foster a tripartite partnership among the Government, arts groups and the private sector to promote arts and cultural development in Hong Kong.
